TWEETER

Over the last few decades, we have evolved with the notion of social media, internet and embedded technology in our built environment. We have become more expressive on digital screens and other virtual environments. As a result, in reality, we have become bland over time and social media platforms are constantly crossing boundaries to attract as many customers. Are we heading towards a straight-faced society or can we create a form of communication using individual emotions?

 

Tweeter; a speculative and experimental design project aims to create real time interactions between users resulting into unpredictable sound outputs. With tweeter, users express themselves collaboratively with others. The tweeter system converts user sentiments into sound. Scale, tone and pitch differs with individual sentiments. To experience it better, sound instruments and virtual spaces is designed with help of digital platforms.The project identifies itself to give our community a new collective voice.

This project got exhibited at MDIT 'Next Exhibition' in 2020 semester 1.
